Sony has toned its DRM policies right down - if you pay to download (video) content, you'll be able to re-download that content across multiple devices including PS3 and PS Vita.Originally, the policy wouldn't allow users of the Video Unlimited service to re-download any purchased content - the Playstation support site still says that "videos purchased on the video store cannot be re-downloaded once it has been downloaded to either a PS3 or PSP system."
According to the
Video Unlimited Website, "If you purchase a copy, the video or TV show download will be available infinitely and can be transferred to other enabled devices."
What this means, is that consumers no longer have to worry about backing up their content onto a hardrive - it's only fair really, isn't it?
