At E3, Nintendo announced a whole bunch of Wii U games set for release in 2013. It also teased Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, Bayonetta 2 and X, which will be released in 2014. Do you want more? Then company president Satoru Iwata has revealed that the company has more - it just doesn't want to talk about them yet.In an investor's meeting, the executive stressed that the company intentionally did not reveal every single game that is currently in development for the Wii U. The reason being that it does not want to make fans wait too long between announcement and release, and so that competitors cannot easily mimic their titles.
"There are more unannounced Wii U titles coming by 2014," said Iwata, according to a translation by Twitter user
Cheesemeister (via

"There was more info than could be released at E3. Wanted to ease [Wii U] owners' fears... Don't want to leave a long gap between announcement/release of new game types that would lessen the impact or allow competitors to copy."
We know that Monolith Software is working on
X, and Nintendo is hard at work on a new
Zelda title. But besides a teaser trailer and vague discussions about franchise philosophy, there has been no real concrete info on what to expect.
This year, Nintendo announced a slew of titles for year-end release on Wii U, including
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze,
Pikmin 3,
The Wonderful 101,
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD,
Sonic Lost World and
Super Mario 3D World.
