Sony is going big on indie with the PlayStation 4. If it wasn't obvious back in February, it sure was during last night's E3 press conference. The company whizzed through a number of creative independently developed titles on stage, adding to an already announced slate that includes Jonathan Blow's The Witness.
Among the reveals was a new project from Supergiant Games (of Bastion fame) called Transistor. It looks brilliant. Don't Starve by Shank developer Klei Entertainment, Secret Ponchos by Switchblade Monkeys (coolest name for a developer ever?), and Young Horses' IGF nominated oddity Octodad: Deadlest Catch were also demonstrated.
The above games, as well as Ray's The Dead, Mercenary Kings, Galak-Z, Outlast and Oddworld Inhabitant's Abe's Oddysee: New n' Tasty, will be making their "exclusive console debut" on PlayStation 4. You can check out all of the games that were showcased in the video below, courtesy of GameTrailers.
