Rumour: Leaked GameInformer Cover Outs Respawn Game - TitanFall
Headed for Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360 apparently.
A cover purporting to be from the latest, as-yet-unreleased issue of GameInformer has reportedly leaked ahead of the magazine's intended publish date, displaying an image for a game called TitanFall. This is, apparently, Respawn's upcoming next-gen multiplayer game.
According to a thread on NeoGAF, the GameInformer app for Google Play had released the issue early to subscribers. A snapshot was taken of the cover, which seems to cover all the bases - huge robots, guns, female characters and science fiction.
The thread cites the article included in the magazine (but offers no further evidence to suggest) that TitanFall will be console-exclusive to Microsoft consoles, with the Xbox One and PC version being developed by Respawn and another studio handling an Xbox 360 release. It's also said to use the cloud an awful bunch.
While it's all very exciting, be aware that it is the week before E3 and, when given the power of anticipation and image editing tools, anything can be seen as legitimate. If this is all true, it's a massive blunder for GameInformer and something of a spectacular leak. But we should wait until E3 for EA to properly wheel this baby out. Just in case.
