Microsoft Kicks Off Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale

Microsoft is seeing the Xbox 360's final year in style - by kicking off a monster sale on over 60 Games on Demand titles.

The promotion, called Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale, will see discounts of up to 75% (with some select games available for a whopping 85% off) on a number of AAA Xbox 360 games , including the Assassin's Creed series, Call of Duty franchise, Mortal Kombat, Metal Gear Solid and Street Fighter games.

It all kicks off today, with a number of Halo games discounted by 67% (with Halo 4 discounted by 33%). Here's the full breakdown:

Halo 3 - 67% off (was $30, now $10)
Halo 4 - 33% off (was $60, now $40)
Halo: Reach - 67% off (was $30, now $10)
Halo Wars - 67% off (was $30, now $10)

There's no detail on UK pricing just yet, but using a good old currency conversion you can equate that to about £8-9 for Halo 3, Reach and Wars and about £25 for Halo 4.

More games will be placed on the promotion every day until March 4. Here's a full list of games on offer.
