Dead Space 3 Producer 'Confused' By Possible Poor Reception for PC Port
In the face of rumours of a poor PC port of Dead Space 3, Visceral Games executive producer Steve Papoutsis is bewildered, bedazed, and confused at why a PC gamer would want a version of Dead Space 3 that is optimised for the PC. Why on earth would you want that, PC gamer person?

But don't let us lead you wrong. Steve actually says:

"It's confusing to me that this question even comes up, It's by no means any less important to us; it gets a lot of attention. The PC is a very different platform. As developers, you want to deliver an experience that's as similar as possible on different platforms."

That sounds fair enough. So does, "We want it to be great on all systems, that's our approach."

So, no more moaning. Steve tells ShackNews in fact that, "We continue to evolve our games as we develop them, but we certainly don't target PC as something that's going to be significantly different. We aren't trying to create disparity in the experience that our gamers enjoy; we want to make sure everyone's having that same experience."

Except when they don't by offering DLC, pre-order bonuses, etc. that change the experience for people with the 'wrong' platform...
