The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is getting a high-definition remastering for Wii U this Autumn.
Series bossman Eiji Aonuma revealed the project in today's Nintendo Direct, and showed off some comparison screenshots of how the game, which was originally released on Gamecube, is coming along. And it's looking absolutely gorgeous.
Aonuma added that, as well as HD graphics, the updated Wind Waker will include off-TV GamePad support, Miiverse and a 'tuned up gameplay experience'. Whatever that means. Hopefully it'll mean that the team is going to include cutting room floor material, such as the famous lost third dungeon and other areas.
