Whoopsie. Amazon has compensated a small number of Wii U buyers who ordered a Premium pack and found no complimentary copy of Nintendo Land inside the box. Now, everyone who bought a Wii U Premium pack will get a redemption code to download the game straight from Nintendo's eShop.
The complication was down to a "supplier error," according to a statement from Amazon. Although a "small number" of customers were affected, the blanket redemption code mailout means that those who did get the game in the box will have a second copy to play with. To be fair, it's about the easiest and quickest solution to act on, so kudos to Amazon there.
"It's been brought to our attention that a small number of orders for this item may have been delivered without the advertised game, Nintendo Land, due to supplier error," read the statement. "In the event that your order was one of the small number missing the game, please use the following code and instructions below, to download the game."
