Details of an unannounced Wii U game starring everyone's favourite cartoon dinosaur have appeared on a couple of Canadian retail sites. It would appear that Yoshi's Land is in the pipeline.
The blurb provided by Best Buy Canada runs like this: "Take Yoshi on an epic adventure to remember in Yoshi Land for Nintendo Wii U. Check out Yoshi as you've never seen him before: in glorious high definition. Enjoy dual-screen control thanks to the Wii U Touchscreen GamePad, while you'll also be able to experience full integration with Nintendo's MiiVerse service."
A listing for the game is also on Future Shop.
The name first surfaced when a Wii U user apparently gained access to the MiiVerse admin panel. A topic thread was apparently dedicated to the game. Nintendo has since told GI.biz that the thread was part of a mock-up menu and that the security flaw that allowed access has since been addressed.
The appearance of Yoshi's Land on two retail sites seems to confirm that it, at least, exists.
Other titles on the supposed mock-up menu included Soul Hackers and the more ambiguous 'Metal Gear Solid' and 'Resident Evil'.
