BioShock Infinite was delayed back in May - and we were all very sad. But don't think that the time extension has anything to do with a multiplayer mode - Irrational Games head Ken Levine confirmed last night that the game will include no such thing, remaining a single-player experience. It was rumoured that
BioShock Infinite would include a multiplayer mode,
after the studio advertised a position for a "Network Programmer" that would "require a combination of initiative, leadership, design, coding, and daily problem solving on multiple target platforms."
When Levine
was asked to clarify whether the game would include such a feature on Twitter last night, he
responded simply with the words, "No multi."
Seems that this mysterious "Network Programmer" is involved with other online tricks that Irrational are not yet talking about. We'll be able to find out more soon.
