The Nintendo Wii U will offer in-game chat for some games including Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 but you'll have to pay for more equipment if you want to use the functionality.
According to a report, "The new Nintendo console will support in-game voice chat for 'select games'. " Unsurprisngly so far these are said to include AAA's such as Assassin's Creed III, Call of Duty Black Ops II and Mass Effect 3..."
