If our experience this morning is anything to go by - and it is - there may be new content on the revamped EU PlayStation Store but the store itself is - from the UK - looking a tad old.
The newly revamped PlayStation Store was announced and dated (in one sense of the word 'dated') back on October 11th. As we said then, "The most obvious change is one of look and feel: the store front looks much, much less as if it was written in 2005 now. For example, it will actually use the entire screen with UI scaling dependent on display resolution." Well, our experience this morning is somewhat different.
We are experiencing massive slow-down and also a very, very old look and feel to the store. This, of course, maybe an anomaly. We are following up. What's your experience been like? Tell us in the Forum.
Other changes to the store are also creeping out, changes such as update times as this on the PSBlog states, "It now launches at 3.00pm BST every week. In the past we were struggling to get it translated for local EU regions in time for the old 1.30pm publication slot so we’ve pushed it back slightly. I know you’d like the info sooner, but I hope you still get enough notice ahead of the Store refresh to make your purchasing decisions. Apologies for any inconvenience."
