Don't look now, but Nintendo could be onto something big with the Wii U. If reports are to be believed, pre-order stock for the upcoming Premium pack has already sold out in the US.Apparently, GameStop stores across the country have had all of their Wii U Premium stock reservations allocated on a "company wide" level. Meaning that pretty much every single store is out of the sexy black 32GB device. If that's the case, then you can expect the Basic, white 8GB pack to follow suit soon.
Games blog Polygon contacted a number of GameStop stores, which all appeared to confirm the pre-order sellout - some had revealed that around half of their pre-orders had been filled just hours after Nintendo's video conference last week.
There's no word on whether more Premium sets will be available for pre-order - or even after launch.
