Game Developers Conference speakers announced
Held in San Jose between March 19-23, 2002, the GDC is THE event for any game creator’s calendar. Today the full list of confirmed speakers, as well as those making keynotes, is announced.

Discussing the synergy between music and gaming will be Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the creator of Space Channel Five and Rez, formerly of Sega SmileBit.

The CTO of Sony Computer Entertainment Shinichi Okamoto, the father of the PlayStation phenomenon, will be discussing SCE’s research and development techniques.

Kazunori Yamauchi, president of Polyphony Digital, will be discussing how a franchise evolves through design, alongside Toshihiro Nagoshi, President of Amusement Vision and designer of Monkey Ball, who will be talking about ‘The Evolution of Level Design and the Relationship Between Background and Interface Design Procedures’.
