Filing Confirms a New PlayStation 3 on Its Way

Sony has asked the FCC in the USA to give the governmental thumbs up to a new iteration of the PS3. Everybody seems to be getting all "It's a SuperSlim PS3! It's an Xbox 720/Surface spoiler. We reckon not...
The filing for the new PS3 comes with a new label placement and an iteration from the 3000 to a 4000 series.
A poster on Neogaf noticed that, "Label Position is different from 3000/slim models, new case?" Which as lead to speculation of a SuperSlim PS3 to hit sometime before Xmas.
Either that, of course, or a standard Slim PS3 with lower cost components. We'll see.

So an extra 14mm in one dimension makes it bigger when 35mm and 33 mm less in the other two don't make it smaller?
