Speaking at Microsoft's E3 2012 press conference, head of Xbox marketing Yusuf Mehdi has announced a new(ish) music service for the Xbox and other Microsoft platforms.
The 360's taking front and centre, with the service dubbed 'Xbox Music'. The service will, it seems, replace Zune. It is, apparently, the music service Microsoft has always wanted to give us.
Beyond the360, the service will be available (and connected) across Windows 8 PCs, tablets and phones.
A short video showed the service on the Xbox dashboard, looking suitably slick. 'Music is More Amazing with Xbox', the video tells us. Details were a little thin on the ground beyond that, however.
