Music games are not dead. They are not. They're not if you're Ubisoft and you bought up the rights to Real-Gitttar-Game Rocksmith. The goddam axe-wielding title is being toured around Europe this summer.
In case you're not aware, "Rocksmith’s magic is thanks to the exclusive Real Tone Cable provided with the game. It’s as simple as plugging the quarter-inch jack into any electric guitar and the USB plug to any USB port of the Xbox 360 console, PlayStation 3 or PC/MAC. The cable and software transform the analog signal of the guitar into a digital one that can be heard through TV speakers or any other stereo amplifier."
The tour poster indicates in fact that the game makes it easy even for an ape to play guitar. Yes, you can use a goddam real guitar (which is quite good actually, all sarcasm aside). Grab all the tour dates here.
