It looks like the Creative Assembly-developed Alien title will be released on next-generation consoles as well as current-generation platforms, if a job advertisement at the studio is any indication. The Total War studio is looking for a Multiplayer/Gameplay Programmer to help develop the high-profile project, with an
ad on the company's website stating that the successful candidate will work "on a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe."
SEGA
formally revealed the existence of the Alien game last May, but no official unveiling has yet occurred - most likely to keep the focus on Gearbox's
Aliens: Colonial Marines, which is set for an Autumn 2012 release. Creative Assembly told
MCV back in 2011 that it was "open-minded" about which platforms it will develop the new title for.
