GAME Execs Told to Brace for Administration
According to MCV, senior staff at GAME have been told to ready themselves for administration.

They were told in a meeting earlier in the week with the company's CEO, Ian Shepherd, that they had two weeks to turn the troubled retailer's fortunes around.

The company is currently holding what's widely being described as a fire sale, with deals including a sub-£100 PS3 with Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The aim is to bring much needed cash into the company, potentially buying it a few extra days.

The best hope is for a buyout by a competitor, with GameStop rumoured to be circling. Both complete sales or the selling off of parts of the company's international operations have been mooted. If a deal doesn't come together GAME will be taken into administration, according to MCV.

This follows reports earlier in the week that GAME's creditors are running out of patience.
