Only One User Account on PlayStation Vita
It appears that any hope you may have had of letting your best gaming pal have an account on your PS Vita is gone. Also gone is any hope you have of getting and playing games and other items not usually available in your region.

According to a post from NeoGaf member, mehdi_san:

"I just got back from the Vita event in Osaka... There also a FAQ section at the end, and that's where I found this bad news:

"Quote:
"Q: How many PSN account can be set up on a Vita system?
"A: Only 1 account. If you want to to use a different account, you need to format the system to factory settings."

So, yup, region-locked and single user PlayStation Vita ahoy.

Ha ha ha ha ha! Region locked? Ha ha ha ha ha. I seem to remember Sony saying a while back that it wasn't going to be region locked.

I knew about the single user account, though. I wonder how people will feel when they find out they've got to run Sony software on their PCs to transfer data to and from the system (or connect to a PS3).

Just got my Vita. I can't believe this rubbish. One user account?

Without listing a (potentionally massive) list of reasons why, Sony just seem to be digging them selves a bigger and bigger hole I'm not sure they can ever get out of..

What a load of rubbish!! One user account? Have to format/reset system to have another user? just, wow...
