Iran Must be MW3 Fans - Battlefield 3 Gets Banned
When we say "Must be", we're guessing about Iran.
"Me, camping? How very dare you!"
When it come to fanboy wars, we would suggest not getting Iran involved. It's only gone and banned Battlefield 3.
Could it be because Oman got to be in the latest BF3 DLC (as reported yesterday)? Probably not.
Is it because president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a huge MW3 fanboy?
Sadly not the case.
According to the AFP, "Iran has banned a popular computer game, Battlefield 3, depicting US armour and aircraft launching an assault on Tehran, an Iranian IT magazine reported."
It continues, "'All computer stores are prohibited from selling this illegal game,' an unnamed deputy with the security and intelligence division of Iran's police said in a statement carried by the Asr-e Ertebat weekly.
A Tehran-based IT union warned all shops to abide by the ban."
Not only that but, "The Fars news agency said the game had prompted an online protest by a group of "Iranian youths.
"We understand that the story of a videogame is hypothetical ... (but) we believe the game is purposely released at a time when the US is pushing the international community into fearing Iran," the group said in an online petition, with more than 5,000 signatories so far.

When was the last shooter that involved Americans being the aggressor and they were the bad guys?! I do sympathize with middle east countries who are demonized. that said I'm playing Medal of Honor at the moment and really enjoying it...
