Fancy watching some TV over the weekend? Sony has you covered - it seems that the UK PlayStation Network Video Store has added a couple of US shows to own, in either HD or SD formats.24,
Breaking Bad,
South Park,
Arrested Development,
Glee and
How I Met Your Mother are just a small example of TV programmes now available to watch in the UK.
The Sixth Axis suggests that the sudden arrival of these shows is the result of a deal between Sony and Sky TV.
The selection of programmes are a little inconsistent however. Seasons one and six of 24 are available, while
Family Guy only offers seasons one and eight.
Arrested Development simply has season three. SD episodes are £1.49 a pop and HD episodes are £2.49, with some episodes offering an SD and HD bundle at the latter price point.
It's taken long enough - US and Japanese PSN users have been able to download TV shows since 2008.
