Nintendo: "Bitter Lessons" of 3DS Launch to Aid Wii U
Nintendo is not going to be launching the Wii U until at least June next year if Nintendo's most recent statement on the pain of the 3DS launch is anything to go on.

Nintendo president, Saturo Iwata, has pointed out:

"We are also planning to launch the Wii U, which is the successor to the Wii, during the next fiscal year. We would like to show the final format of the Wii U at the E3 show next year. As we learned a bitter lesson with the launch of the Nintendo 3DS, we are trying to take every possible measure so that the Wii U will have a successful launch."

So:

1. Competitively priced.
2. F***ing games!
3. Adequately marketed beyond the core game consumer.

(And did I mention: F***ing games!)

Well bit of a wait, and if I was you id buy it now too, as Zelda games tend to go up in price in the 2nd hand market
