It's coming! It's coming! Crysis is coming to your console! And now we know exactly when! EA has finally spilled the beans on when you'll be able to download it for your 360 and PS3. Drumroll please... because it's due for release on October 4th.
A remake of the original Crysis with a few modifications (including the addition of the improved Crysis 2 control scheme), it'll cost you 1600 Microsoft Points or £15.99 on PS3. With Crysis still seen as a benchmark for graphical quality in the world of PC shooters, the console versions may not be exactly the same but man... they still look very pretty indeed.
With console gamers finally getting to visit the South China Sea and take on the mysterious alien menace, SPOnG will – of course – be ready with a review as soon as we can get our hands on it. Has it stood the test of time? We shall find out soon enough.
