Crysis Comes To Consoles - and It's Sooner Than You Think
The legend finally ambles on to your telly
In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the tanks roll out tonight.
It may well have taken four years to arrive, but Crysis is finally ready to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. The much-lauded FPS has been rumoured for release on consoles for some time confirmation was received in a promo video from EA. The best thing? You won't even have to wait that long as it's coming out next month.
Footage from the 360 version promises an improved control system (which apparently has been lifted from Crysis 2) as well as improved lighting effects. Fans of the original PC version are legion, but the question has to be asked: will a game first put out in 2007 hold up today? It certainly looks pretty amazing – here's hoping the game itself is even half as good.
