Kinect Star Wars and R2D2 Xbox 360 Delayed
You have yet to reach your "full potential," Jedi.
That's no moon... that's Microsoft dragging Kinect Star Wars and the limited edition R2D2 and C-3PO Xbox 360 away from its Christmas release date and delaying it to an unspecified date. No lightsaber-happy festive season for you!
"Microsoft and LucasArts have elected to move the launch of Kinect Star Wars beyond holiday 2011 to ensure the full potential of this title is realized," a spokesperson told OXM. "This move applies to both the Kinect Star Wars stand-alone game and the Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition Console. We will communicate additional timing information at a later date."
Kinect Star Wars wasn't looking particularly fantastic when we saw it last, so we're not exactly surprised that Microsoft wants to give it some quality control. What's surprising is that Microsoft has swallowed the pain of missing the lucrative Christmas season in the name of ensuring the game is up to snuff. Well done, Microsoft.
The console and the game were originally slated for a "holiday 2011" release, so the confirmation of a delay suggests that we might be seeing it anytime between January and Spring 2012.

Its good that they delayed it because it was horrible.. then again I think Kinect is absolute trash so I can understand if someone thinks I am a little bias.
