Once upon a time there was news from 'a source close to Sony' that the PSP Vita would miss this Xmas. But that was then. Now, according to Blockbuster, the new handheld will hit on October 28th.
As you can see from the screenshot illustrating this story (via engadget) the Vita with WiFi will hit on October 28th for £279.99. The 3G version will cost £299.99 and will arrive on the same date.
The shot is of a flyer rather than a web page, which suggests that (if real) this isn't merely a slip of the content management system.
