Specifications and details on some of the AAA titles heading for Sony's Next Generation Portable have already been detailed in a lengthy preview, days before the device is due to be unleashed to the press at E3.Mobile Review spent some advance time with the NGP and took a close note of its exact processing details. Dimensions wise, it's only slightly larger than a PSP, measuring 182x83.5x18.6mm (or 7.2x3.3x0.7in) to the PSP's 170x74x23mm (or 6.7x2.9x0.9in).
The NGP's current spec sheet includes a quad core ARM Cortex A9 processor, SGX543MP4+ graphic accelerator (200MHz, 4 GPixel/s fill rate), while its display is a 5" OLED with a resolution of 960x544 and 24 bit color. Networking tech involves GPS, Bluetooth, G-sensor and optional 3G.
Some of the games have been briefly covered in the preview too - Uncharted, Little Deviants, Reality Fighters and WipEout 2048 were all given shakedowns, but Mobile Review was also kind enough to provide several images detailing the games.
