Sony's Senior Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media Patrick Seybold has responded officially to the fact that the US PSN has been either out of service or running slowly today following the unleashing of 'wrath' by self-entitled hacktivist group 'Anonymous'.
Posting on the official PlayStation blog, Mr Seybold states that:
"We’re aware that some of you have been experiencing intermittent service on PSN today. We’re working on finding a solution, and will report back here as soon as it’s resolved.
"Thank you for your patience."
