The Game Group has decided to bite the virtual bullet and us trialling sales of downloadable content and Xbox Live Arcade.The trial, which will last for six months and which started yesterday, includes will reach into 40 GAME outlets throughout the UK.
GAME Group commercial strategy director Tricia Brennan told
GamesIndustry.biz, "Our teams will be selling digital Xbox Live games alongside the consoles, packaged games and accessories that have been the foundation of our stores for the last 20 years.
"Last year we boosted our range with other digital cards including iTunes, Zynga and Facebook credits, and this year we look forward to giving customers even more to choose from."
