Relic Establishes Brian Wood Memorial Internship
Dawn of War and Company of Heroes developer Relic Entertainment has established an internship in memory of late employee at the studio, Brian Wood.

Carrying the somewhat lengthy title of the Brian Wood Memorial Game Design Internship, this will be awarded in February 2011 to one successful graduate of the Vancouver Film School's Game Design Program.

The internship was created to commemorate the dedicated work of game designer Brian Wood, employed at the company until his tragic death in a traffic accident in September 2010. Wood worked on titles at the developer including the Company of Heroes franchise. He was also regarded as a valued mentor at the developer and was a father to be at the time of the accident.

The chosen candidate will undertake a four month internship at the studio, working with a team and contributing to the development of titles at the Vancouver studio. Interested parties can check further details of the internship and the game design course here.
