Blizzard: 'Not Enough Bandwidth' for Warcraft IV
Despite whispers to the contrary, Blizzard has poured cold water over rumours that Warcraft IV is on the way.

Speaking to Strategy Informer, Blizzard designer David Kosak politely noted that his company had not said anything official on Warcraft IV. Pressed a little further on the matter, Kosak's colleague Greg Street (lead systems designer for WoW) added:

"Well, the World of Warcraft team is busy on World of Warcraft, and we have an RTS team but they are busy with Starcraft II, we don't right now have enough bandwidth to tackle something like that."

Never say never and all that, but it doesn't sound great, does it?

To make it look nicer and add higher resolutions and support for widescreen monitors.
Add the new battle.net functionality and new units and heroes.
Add high definition cut scenes, and other improvements from SC2.
Make more money.

Why not make new one? It's only a question of time at this stage.
