Despite rumblings that the Xbox 360 would be getting its UK dashboard update today, it appears that you're going to have to wait for another week.
Daniel Maher, Xbox LIVE Editor, EMEA, tweeted:
"Apologies to everyone who's contacted us about the new dash launching today - it's actually coming sometime in November."
We'll give you an idea what the update is like later though as we're lucky enough to have had an update already.

I Downloaded the new dashboard yesterday because everyone said it was coming out today really annoyed now why cant people just say and official date now i have no xbox live till it releases.

@pdh On the show "the nexus" they said it was out on the 26th of October, if you're wondering what episode tells that it's the 26th it's Episode 4: MUSIC, but it's been delayed till November now.

Well for all the re**rds above Ashley_Mason states "now i have no xbox live till it releases." which is a side effect of non verfied dashboard access due to console/profile ID permission linked by Xbox Live servers utill release.
