New department will take up slack
Channel 4's recent closure of its 4IP digital investment initiative won't impact its commitment to making video games.
Channel 4 head of cross platform Matt Locke has told Develop that the TV station's new C4 online department will take up the slack.
“We’ve seen through the pioneering work of C4 Education and E4.com that games help us reach new audiences, so we’ll be continuing to develop and invest in games – and new UK gaming talent – across the new C4 online department.”
