USA: Playstation Network to Get PSOne Import Section
Hard to reach niche titles not so far away any more
Sony in America has announced that it is due to add a PSOne import section to the American Playstation Network in the near future.
The new section will allow keen gamers to download previously hard to obtain Japanese PS1 titles such as GaiaSeed and Cho Aniki with additional titles to be announced in the near future.
The PS1 import section is only scheduled for the US PSN for now but be sure to keep checking SPOnG for updates on if and when the European PSN will get this too. All we can say is bring it on.

You mean you've not got a PSOne and all your old games in a cupboard somewhere? I am shocked and stunned. In fact I'm shtunned.
Yeah, it is a good idea. If I was Sony I'd buy all the Atari ST, BBC Micro and Amiga stock I (singular) could, and roll those out. Laser Squad... oh, I'd be a sucker for that.

actually my PS1 and PS2 are still hooked up with all the games still out on shelves and what was once used as a bookcase.

Why dont they just bring them out for everyone at the same time, anyway its not like i can go on anyway my ps3 has ylod again, had a hair dryer to it twice now, sad times.
