The head of Sony's Worldwide Studios in Europe, Michael Denny, has explained how Move will provide developers with the opportunity to reach large audiences without having to break the bank in development costs, Killzone Move being a prime example.Answering a question regarding whether the motion control will cater to the hardcore market and in what ways we will see this support for the device, he had this to say, "There are games being developed where you sit down and use the controller in different ways. Games like
Heavy Rain are making interesting use of it,
Killzone Move is very interesting. It's a different experience for the core gamers as well, and we will have more games coming for the core."
He also deals with many aspects of the evaluation process for green-lighting development projects for the Playstation Move and how cost is not the major factor in determining whether are given the go ahead:
"The budgetary exercise comes second to that, we have to look at it and believe it's a sensible proposition. But first and foremost it's about us being sold a vision of a creative, innovative game that can be delivered to a high quality."
