Newly formed studio Sledgehammer Games seems finally ready to start hyping its Call of Duty series debut, with the first clues of its development being revealed on - you guessed it - Twitter.Co-founder Glen Schofield has
told followers of an expansion of the studio's workforce, but aims to keep up the pace without compromising intended quality. "Three new employees started this week. We are growing fast but still make sure we maintain our high hiring standards. It's a AAA team."
No details have been revealed about Sledgehammer's war project - we've only just been told that its Call of Duty game will continue the series tradition of being an FPS, after it was said that the franchise would expand into the "action-adventure" genre.
We do know that Schofield is
excited about the stories coming in from the team's research - "Working w/ military guys- their stories will blow you away. Names/locations will change but some situations going in the game- real stuff!"
Audio direction was also mentioned, with Schofield commenting that the result will be better than what he accomplished previously at EA with
Dead Space.
