What happens when a beloved Victorian story from a master story teller of the eccentric goes out of copyright? That's right, Spicy Horse, Electronic Arts and American McGee make a number of video games out of it.
Welcome to the next iteration of what we're sure EA is calling the "Alice in Wonderland franchise" with the follow-up to American McGee's Alice called, in a craaazy way, Alice: Madness Returns.
The game is, as Lewis Carroll intended, "a fun and addictive action adventure" for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Man of ideas, American McGee (Spicy Horse Games Co-Founder and Senior Creative Director), says "Alice is a classic fiction, infinitely rich..." seriously, he said that. And he continues, "...with memorable characters, places and experiences. Our approach to Alice: Madness Returns takes this colourful world and reinvents it with psychotic personalities and pervasive insanity".
Oh, just watch the trailer. It's 'crazy'.
