A report in Digitimes indicates that the controversial Foxconn Electronics (and Flexitronics International) is to start shipments of the soon-to-be-renamed Microsoft Natal in August. This could enable it to be in retail as early as September - in time for the September 14th launch of Halo Reach. The report states, "Electronic manufacturing service (EMS) providers Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) and Flextronics International are expected to start shipping Project Natal devices for Microsoft's' Xbox 360 gaming consoles in August, but mass shipments are estimated to start in 2011, according to industry watchers in Taiwan.
"Foxconn declined to comment on its orders and clients."
Foxconn is currently under close scrutiny from manufacturers such as Nintendo and Apple due to a rash of suicides at its fabrication plant.
