New Director for Kane & Lynch Movie
Previous director fell out with studio. Wayne Kramer to take over
Talks for a director of the upcoming Kane & Lynch movie - the one apparently starring Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx - have been made public in recent days, and it looks like Wayne Kramer is in discussions to be the latest to lead the project.
This is the Wayne Kramer of Crossing Over and The Cooler fame. Not the Wayne Kramer of 1960s loud-band the MC5.
Former stunt co-ordinator Crane was signed to direct, but according to a source at Millennium, "it wasn't working out." Following his departure, F. Gary Gray was courted but he passed. Now the man behind The Cooler, Running Scared and Crossing Over may be the one for the job.
Talks are ongoing, so no deal has been made. With production about to start soon, let's hope something can be arranged with someone, eh?
