News this morning of the confusion regarding the download time for the Modern Warfare 2 'Stimulus Package' or 'Map Pack' as we like to call it, has escalated with yet more confusing timings.
The following message appeared courtesy of Xbox LIVE Editor, EMEA, Daniel Maher (aka Mr Pointyhead):
"Stimulus Package Update: the pack is set to go live at 12pm UTC, which means 1pm in the UK. However, it may not appear until as late as 5pm"
This was rapidly followed by the slightly acerbic:
"Stimulus Package Update: IT'S A MAP PACK, NOT THE SECOND COMING. CALM DOWN. YOU CAN GIVE ACTIVISION YOUR MONEY SOON."

this is a joke, it's even hit the sunny shores of the UK. (Hull to be exact). No new maps and no playing old maps...........what can i do......maybe go and see how wife and kids are.....haven't really noticed then since Christmas.

FYI, maps are working in the US, but you cannot choose your gametype for the new maps. You just have to play whatever random game they choose. Sucks if you don't play all the game types.
