LittleBigPlanet 2 Outed with Move by Sony
Folkert Langeveld of Sony Computer Entertainment Benelux has apparently nixed Media Molecule's statement that "We'd never want to do that (sequel to LittleBigPlanet). That'd be the most counter-productive thing you could do I think."

In a video you can see below, Langeveld talks about how Move ('the motion controller') will certainly happen with LBP2. Reporting on Langeveld's comments, Dutch site Tweakers tells us (via a translation) that, "Most notable is the decision of the marketer that Little Big Planet 2 will support the Move.

"Sony has not been hurried on a sequel to the platform game from Media Molecule. The ruling appears to indicate that Langeveld Little Big Planet 2 already in development. Sony took earlier this year on development studio Media Molecule. They were responsible for the first part of Little Big Planet."

For all we know the translations could have read "Little Big Planet "too" will support the Move"

But as usual over zealous reporters fail to even bother considering that option.
Also, lest we forget, we have already seen videos of said Move technology in the current game, not a new one.

The Move technology will just be a big add-on to the current game, LBP2 as a true sequel is not true.

@Tone I'm not sure I understand that. By the same token you could say that you could not see how there can be a sequel to any game. LBP 2 could have more, newer and different gameplay aspects. That's all, really, that any sequel has, and to be honest, they often don't even have that.

Let's face it, leading sports games often have very few differences apart from new players and squads. But they come out as sequels, when DLC could do the job perfectly.
