Senior test engineer John Noonan of the hotly anticipated Crackdown 2 Xbox 360 exclusive has revealed that the game's DLC won't simply be stripped out content from the main event."There's this perception that we're holding stuff out from the main game to put into DLC.
"The reality is we're just working like crazy to get the core game out, then there's six to eight weeks of manufacturering and distribution that goes on. And then all of a sudden the team's got a little bit of bandwidth to start looking at DLC and stuff like that."
Executive Producer Peter Connolly points out to
OXM that, "People did a lot of things in the first game that we didn't really know could be done. We've expanded it a bit now so we're expecting them to do more with it this time. But in order to do a replay system in a four-player co-op game is not a simple task, and we want to do it well."
What we do know is that the DLC will contain the capability to save and share video of your exploits.
