Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Update Submitted
Microsoft's certification process holding up the release.
Still waiting for those glitches and bugs to be killed in your Xbox 360 version of Modern Warfare 2? Well, if all goes to plan you shouldn't be waiting any longer, as Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling reveals that a “care package” was submitted to Microsoft on Friday, and is pending approval.
The reason for the delay appears to be Microsoft's certification process – the PC and PS3 versions have already been patched up and ready to go. It includes fixes that cover glitches for infinite care packages, Emergency Airdrop issues and Sentry Guns problems as well as the XP glitch.
“The Care Package Fix went to Microsoft for cert on Friday. Not too much longer before it's a thing of the past,” writes Bowling on Twitter. Read the patch notes in full on Steam, where the game was fixed of its problems nearly a month ago.
