Politics Forces SCEA to Change PS3 Slim Advert
So, we reported on the funny US PS3 TV adverts that effectively mocked us upside our faces. Then we reported the fact that the Nigerian government became angry that it got mocked upside its face because of the same SCEA advert for PS3 Slim.

Now, we're reporting that Sony in America has changed the offending wording from:

"Bernie, You can't believe everything you read on the Internet otherwise I'd be a Nigerian millionaire by now."

to:

"Bernie, you can't believe everything you read on the Internet. That's how World War I got started."

Still, Nigeria is one of the biggest economic powers in that part of the world. We'd be interested to have seen what happened if say, Eritrea had complained. New ad below.

Don't you know? Its illegal to cause offense to anyone in the 21st century. Face and money must be saved at all costs. Sticking to your guns?? WTF is that?

If it were me, I'd just apologise and leave the ad alone, as its meant in jest and not to offend.

Damn, grow some testis, games industry.
