Last week's PS3 sales in Japan are scraping along the bottom of the console list. The PlayStation 3 is actually selling three times fewer consoles than the PS2. It's a total disaster, right?
Of course it isn't. The most recent Media Create figures refer to the week of August 24th to 30th: the week before the launch of PS3 Slim. It looks very much, therefore, as if every other game in Japan was waiting to go crazy and slim.
The previous week's report can be found
here.
You'll be able to tell from those that not only is the PS3 down, so is everything else bar the DSi and the DS Lite. This week's figures are below, with the change from last week in brackets.
ConsoleWii: 25,038 (-1,934)
Xbox 360: 7,254 (-1,725)
