PS3 Slims would appear to be finding their way into the wild ahead of the September 1st launch date.
If you're living in Basingstoke or Batley, you might want to calm down though; reports have emerged that Best Buys in Florida are selling the machine, while rumour has it that other companies, including Walmart, GameStop and Amazon have followed suit.
While it's difficult to quantify how many PS3 Slims are actually being sold, the photographic evidence from Gizmodo that it bought one (see image) is pretty difficult to ignore. The site also reports that it had a tip from a Best Buy employee based in Tampa saying his branch had been told by corporate management to put the new hardware on sale.
