Gamestop Meeting Appears to Confirm August PS3 Price Cut
Analyst backs up his statement.
Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia - who predicted a $100 PS3 price cut earlier this month has been to a meeting with US retailer Gamestop. Having exited it, he was prepared to support his previous assertion thus:
"Management believes that a meaningful PS3 cut is highly likely in the near-term. We continue to believe a $100 price cut on PS3 will occur around the launch of EA’s Madden NFL 2010, which is scheduled for release on 8/18."
He also believes that this will lead to a Wii price cut in order to maintain the differential between Nintendo's console and that of the Xbox 360 and PS3.

There is not a secret that went the ps3 lower the price of the system will be destroy the competition. I own all three consoles and my favorite is the xbox 360 but went you say "sony" you going for the brand no matter what, xbox 360 the best but the brand sony is to strong.
