The winners of the 9th annual Game Developers Choice Awards have been chosen, with
Fallout 3 having come out on top.
Bethesda's RPG was named Game of the Year, while also nabbing an award for Best Writing.
Fallout 3 might have taken the top prize, but the game that scooped the most awards was Media Molecule's (
apparently unfinished)
LittleBigPlanet. It was given awards for Best Game Design, Best Technology, Best Debut Game and Innovation Award.
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima (who delivers his GDC keynote at 7:00pm GMT today) was also honoured, getting the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In case the name's not a dead give-away, the Game Developers Choice Awards are awarded by... games professionals!
