In the midst of all the bluster about Sony films and their appearance or non-appearance on the Xbox 360, Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced some of the heavy-hitting movies it will make available on the PS3 via PSN shortly. Top of the list is
The Dark Knight.
Highlights of the upcoming and just-released movies are, according to Sony:
The Dark Knight (Dec 9)
Fred Claus (Nov 25)
Hancock (Nov 25)
Horton Hears a Who (Dec 9)
Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Nov 26)
Step Brothers (Dec 2)
X-Files: I Want To Believe (Dec 2)
There's been a bit of a teacup storm of late surrounding the disappearance of a slew of
Columbia Pictures films from the Netflix lineup on the Xbox 360. It was all super-sinister, apparently, because Sony owns Columbia Pictures and was trying to sabotage the launch of the New Xbox Experience. Except, one week on and
the films would seem to be available again.
So, Columbia Pictures films on your 360,
Dark Knight on PSN - it would seem all's well for the sofa-bound, film-watching American public.
But...
where's our Dark Knight game?!Source: The Bitbag
